My wife and I have just returned from two weeks at this site with our touring caravan. We were met at the ferryport by one of the owners which was very useful as we didn`t know Jersey at all. When we arrived the owner just stopped by the gate and said go and find yourselves a pitch, we weren`t taken to an exact pitch. The site facilities are very good but we did have a few gripes. We feel that caravans and tents should be segregated rather than all mixed together. There is not a lot of space when you have caravans and pre erected tents in the same area. From reading various reviews on the site before we went, we had the impression that the site was really strict with their rules but this wasn`t the case, if anything the opposite is true. Being a family site there are loads of kids there, and they are just allowed to play football in amoungst the caravans and tents which we did`nt appreciate as the balls often came very close to the caravans, and sometimes until quite late at night as well, which is not good when you consider there is a large field which doubles as a dog walk area and games field. The access to the site is awkward along very narrow lanes, which is true of alot of the roads on the island. Jersey as a place is very pretty but after two weeks there we were running out of things to do and see. We are both 60 and can do without kids messing about with footballs, when we want to be quiet. The two weeks spent there were enjoyable, but we don`t think we will be returning any time soon.
